APRC proposes implementation of 13th amendment

The APRC has proposed the implementation of 13 amendment of the constitution under which full powers would be given to provincial councils and to increase more power during a second stage. Minister Rajitha Senaratne told a press conference a short while ago that the APRC has also proposed to hold elections for the Eastern province and set up an interim council for the North until the elections are held.
